Where are you located?
We meet at the Mark A. Chapman YMCA Center, located at 1350 Main St, Katy, TX 77494
What time is service?
Sundays at 10 AM
Where do I park?
Parking is available right outside the main entrance. Look for signs an friendly volunteers to guide you when you arrive. First-time guest parking is available near the front for your convenience.
Is there something for my kids?
Kids? Yes! We have TECKids every 2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays for ages 5 - 18 directly after morning worship!
What does a typical service look like?
Our services last about 60–90 minutes. We start with uplifting worship music, followed by a relevant and encouraging message. You can expect a welcoming environment where everyone is invited to come as they are.
How do I join a ministry?
We’d love to help you connect! Visit the Welcome Center after service or explore the “Ministries” section on our website to find opportunities that match your passions and gifts. You can fill out a quick interest form and someone will follow up with you.
How do I join a small group?
Small groups are where real community happens. We offer groups for various ages, interests, and life stages. Check out the “Groups” section on our website or ask a team member to help you find one that fits you.
How can I get involved in serving?
There are many ways to serve at The Encounter Church of Katy, from greeting guests and helping with kids to tech, worship, or outreach. Visit our “Serve” page or fill out a serve card on Sunday to get started—we’ll help you find your place.
What do you believe?
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone. We believe in the Trinity—God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and in living out our faith in love, community, and service.

What does a typical service look like?
Our service is about 90 minutes long and includes very joyful praise in song and in worship. Our praise team and band lead us into the presence of the LORD. Our choir sings Gospel songs that warm the heart. Our pastor will preach an encouraging, uplifting message from the Bible.
How do I join a ministry?
Connecting with Dominion is as easy as completing your Connect Card and turning it in to the Welcome Table at the end of service. Make sure to check the box to join church and you will receive a text and email about next steps.

DCI isn't a church WITH small groups — we are a church OF small groups. Click here to learn more.

DCI is not a "sit-n-git" church. We believe every person is a minister (servant) and everyone has something to contribute. We are a Spirit-filled, life-giving, Bible-teaching church that believes in the Triune Godhead of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for the salvation of humanity. Read our Belief Statement.
